To configure the Matching policies property fields, do the following:
- Ensure that the Properties tab of the Settings page is selected.
- Select Matching policies, positioned under the title of the tab.

- Select the Other, Base and Extended property fields that you want to use to determine whether two customers are actually the same one.
- Click Save to save your choice.
In order to edit the Matching policies, the customer base must be empty, with neither customers or events.
