Configuring Matching Policies

To configure the Matching policies property fields, do the following:

  1. Ensure that the Properties tab of the Settings page is selected.
  2. Select Matching policies, positioned under the title of the tab.
    The available Matching policy fields display.

  1. Select the Other, Base and Extended property fields that you want to use to determine whether two customers are actually the same one.
  2. Click Save to save your choice.

In order to edit the Matching policies, the customer base must be empty, with neither customers or events.
