From October 12th, 2021, a new version of the platform segmentation functionality is available.
The release is planned between 2.15 pm and 2.45 pm CEST.
What can you do with this release?
Let’s look at it with an example. Suppose your parent company asks you to launch a recall campaign of all vehicles to which you have fitted certain parts in the last year. It seems that one supplier has not fulfilled all the safety checks.
The first thing to do is to identify the owners of the vehicles concerned. You then have to start from the sold spare part to trace the vehicle and create the customer segment to be contacted.
Whereas until now, product selection has been cumbersome, with a painstaking search for each individual product, thanks to this release you can do it all in no time and with no need for technological expertise.
Log into the platform and enter the segmentation area as you usually do. Start creating your segment and when you need to indicate which products are fitted on which cars, simply copy and paste the list you have received, making sure that the values are separated by commas. Copy them directly into the free text search field.
We have made two new operators available – in the list and not in the list – for even faster segmentations. The system also takes care of any necessary deduplication for values entered more than once in the copied list.
