From October, 25th, 2022, a new version of the platform segmentation functionality will be available.
The release is planned between 2.00 pm and 2.30 pm CEST.
What can you do with this release?
When you have to handle a plan in status error and reactivated it, you can decide whether to address contacts that have already been validated or ask for an extraction update when you reopen it to push the delivery.
In fact, a screen will appear, giving you the choice of keeping the already prepared contact list or instead confirming the extraction of a list when re-sending.
What it means
This new functionality becomes particularly interesting when do not disturb policies are applied or in case of errors concerning recurring plans. Think for example of Happy Birthday communications. Being able to reactivate plans that went wrong on the original target becomes important when you don’t know of any changes that have occurred in the meantime on the database. There is no guarantee that you are sending greetings to those who were actually in the segment at the time of the error. This release therefore makes it easier to find the true audience of the campaign.
