Contactplan is a powerful tool for planning and segmenting, that allows you make your digital campaigns very targetted and effective. We created three tutorials to guide you through how achieving the most common tasks on Contactplan: create a segment, create a plan that results in a Contactsend filter, create a plan that results in an email campaign in Contactsend.

How to Create a Segment

A segment is a dynamic group of contacts in your database, who are selected by applying segmentation rules to the available demographic and behavioral information. Segments are in turn, the foundations that are used to create plans.

How to Create a plan that results in a Contactsend filter

A plan defines how and when to carry out a specific activity, using a selected segment. For example, you can create a plan that includes all the information required to send a marketing campaign, which is scheduled to take place on a particular date and at the appropriate time.

A plan can trigger diffent outputs: publish to an SFTP space, or interact with an external application such as Contactsend. in this tutorial, you’ll use the plan that you create to generate a filter in Contactsend, to be used later.
