Configuring a Contacthub JavaScript website source

To add JavaScript to a website to track a user, create a source with the type set to JavaScript website. See Managing sources for more about creating a source.

When you create a JavaScript source, a token is provided, which is used during the JavaScript integration.

Example of the New JavaScript website source page

Enter the following information:

  • Name.
    The name for the source.
  • Description.
A text description of the source, if required.
  • Under Active nodes, select the nodes that the source can read and/or write to.
  • Under Provider options > the list of URLs allowed to write a given source, enter one or more authorized IP address ranges that can read and/or write data.
